JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Bishop McCort wrestlers Bo Bassett and Jax Forrest were nominated for the Win Magazine's Junior Dan Hodge trophy.
Similar to the Hodge Trophy for college wrestlers, the Junior Hodge Trophy is given to the most dominant high school wrestler in the nation.
Forrest and Bassett just recently qualified for the PIAA state championships at 127 pounds and 139 pounds respectively.
Both of these wrestlers have not only dominated high school competition, but they've also beat ranked college wrestlers at college opens earlier this year.
