FULTON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Fulton County say police are investigating the "suspicious" death of an infant in McConnellsburg.
Police say troopers were dispatched Monday morning, just before 9 a.m., to the area of Lincoln Way East and South Second Street, in McConnellsburg Borough, where they reportedly found an unresponsive infant.
Troopers say the child was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Fulton County coroner's office.
Officials say the "circumstances" of the infant's death are under investigation and have been deemed "suspicious."
